We crossed Hungary twice when we went by bike from Berlin to Croatia in 2003. I think it is possible to do some biking trips in Hungary too. There is the Danube-Biking-Trail (Donau-Radweg), coming from Passau (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and Slovakia.
