Hier wird in historischen Sudgefäßen aus dem Jahre 1889 aus edlen Rohstoffen unfiltriertes, naturbelassenes Bier – getreu dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot von 1516 – gebraut. Durch die klassische kalte Gärführung und sorgsame Lagerung entstehen Bierspezialitäten mit ausgezeichnetem Geschmack und hervorragender Bekömmlichkeit. Besichtigen Sie den Handwerksbetrieb und schauen Sie dem Braumeister über die Schulter.
Im urig gemütlichen Brauereiausschank finden sich jung und alt an einem Tisch. Historische Brauereiutensilien verleihen dem Gastraum einen musealen Charakter und schaffen ein unvergleichliches Ambiente. Von Frühling bis Herbst lädt der sonnige Biergarten zum Verweilen und Genießen ein.

European power struggles immersed the country in two devastating World Wars in the first half of the 20th century and left the country occupied by the victorious Allied powers of the US, UK, France, and the Soviet Union in 1945. With the advent of the Cold War, two German states were formed in 1949: the western Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the eastern German Democratic Republic (GDR). The democratic FRG embedded itself in key Western economic and security organizations, the EC and NATO, while the communist GDR was on the front line of the Soviet-led Warsaw Pact. The decline of the USSR and the end of the Cold War allowed for German unification in 1990. Since then Germany has expended considerable funds to bring eastern productivity and wages up to western standards. In January 1999, Germany and 10 other EU countries formed a common European currency, the euro.

Traveling in germany is quite easy, because every place is connected by public Transportation. Most important for Backpackers is the German Railwail, Deutsche Bahn (DB). Informations are available on www.bahn.de or at the large stations. For small distances, ask locals for the correct bus. There are also buscompanys providing connections between the larger citys. For travelling through europe the Interrail pass is a good idea, since its about 300 EUR travelling through a coupke of countrys for a month. For more information ask at the "Reisezentrum" of the railwaystations. A alternative way to travel through germany is hitchhiking, especeally in summer. Although Hitchhikers are getting rare in germany its safe and cheap. Naturally its safer when you don't travel alone, especeally for women. You can make your way through germany in one day on the thumb.
If you take the plane, remember usually oneway flights in germany are sometimes more expensive than a return ticket. You can get a ticket for about 140 EUR to all the places. Usual travelagents offer cheaper prices than the arlines themself.
