Small town and ferryport

Hanko is a nice town in the very west of Finland on a small headland. There is nothing special interesting, but it is the port for ferries from/to Rostock (Superfast Ferries). So many tourists from/to Germany come to Hanko and waiting for their ferry to start. There is an acceptable beach close to the eastern harbour and a little market with good fish stalls. Try the fish!
Rumour has it, that there are also beautiful beaches on the first 15-20 km along the way to Helsinki at the baltic sea. We didn't find them...
If you are travelling by car, take the big road 25 or there is also a smaller street more closer to the sea in the east, which is connecting to the 25 after some kilometers.
