By plane:
There are some reasonable priced flights operated by Finnair or Estonian Air from Germany to Helsinki.
By car:
There is one route via Russia (about 3000 km coming from Germany) and another route via Sweden.
By ferry:
Superfast ferries has a route from Rostock to Hanko. You should book some weeks in advance, because in summer they are often fully booked.
There are many ferries going from Sweden to Finland. The route in the north from Umea to Vaasa is operated by RG Line.
Another interesting possibility is to go to Tallin (cheap flights by EasyJet or Estonian Air) and from there by ferry (1,5 h) to Helsinki.
