The Villa Schwaiger holds no surprises if you have booked via hrs.de. On some booking pages there are pictures with the extra ordinary designed rooms but don't expect to get that always. But nice and clean. The staff is extremely helpful in phoning for everything and giving us directions for walks and public transports. The bus (No 131, 2min walk) and Metro (10min walk) are near by and the Taxi to Old Town square cost approx. 150 Kr (6Euro). We haven't eat in the Hotel except breakfast. Just across the street is a typical Czech restaurent, which doesn't look exciting or remarkable fantastic (actually I love that old charming style) but it's having excellent food and was real value for money, and packed with locals every night. We tried the SPA as well which is quite charming arranged. The pool pump is a wee bit noisy. (switch it off) Summerised it is an excellent base for staying in Prague and I would recommend it to people. Breakfast was served from 7.00 until 11.00 (we arrived once later and were served) and included an assortment of meat, cheese, sausages, bacon, croissants, bread, french bread and you could eat as much as you liked. We had a good time here!
